“Free Medical &HIV/Aids Awareness Camp” in Delhi organized by MIW Foundation with support of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd.

New Delhi: MIW foundation with support of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. has organized a “Free Medical & Aids Awareness Camp” held at DUSIB Project site, JJ Colony, Rajiv Nagar, New Delhi 110042 were in doctors from government and non-government organisations from New Delhi participated in the Camp.The Camp was organised to provide Medical Relief which included free general medical consultation, ENT consultation, free eye check-ups, dental clinic, distribution of free medicines etc. The camp also addressed special issues like malnutrition, awareness on hygiene, importance of timely vaccination of children etc.Another highlight of the Camp was that along with free medical assistance it also had a dedicated HIV/AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAM which addressed various issues like details about the disease, how it is spread, how it can be prevented, how it can be diagnosed at early stages, medication, centres/clinics/hospitals/dedicated rehabilitation centres providing medical assistance and counselling to those who have been diagnosed with the disease and their near ones and also spread message relating to HIV/AIDS. More than 300 people from weaker sections of society including resident of slum areas, casual workers, labourers etc. got benefitted from this “Free Medical and Aids Awareness Camp”.Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee, MIW Foundation said, “These kinds of camps should be conducted      regularly for providing Medical Relief and creating awareness about social evil like AIDS so that more and more people can be saved from this                dreaded   disease.  It shall  be   our continuous endeavour to organise such camps frequently so that people can benefit from it.”Mr.Vikas B Sharma, Director, Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. said that there is a necessity of providing cost free medical services to the inhabitants of slum areas and other marginalised people who cannot afford high cost of medication. At the same time it is imperative to educate people and bring awareness about fast spreading dreaded disease like HIV/AIDS amongst people.
