Chandigarh, 19 December, 2012/PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Institute of Small Enterprises and Development (ISED), Cochin organized the MSME Stakeholders’ meet at PHD House, here today to deliberate on the latest developments relating to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs)in the country, with special thrust on the issues in Punjab.Dr. P M Mathew, Director, ISED, while discussing the key issues regarding the MSMEs, shared that as per ISED’s annual publication, India MSME Report 2012, MSMEs in Punjab face a serious ‘hexagonal crisis’.While divulging the details, Mathew said the hexagonal crisis pertains to the policy side, demonstration induced crisis, trade induced crisis, planning crisis, entrepreneurship crisis and cultural crisis.
