CHANDIGARH. Maharishi Dayanand Sarswati ‘s 189thbirthday was celebrated by Kendriya Arya Sabha at AryaSamaj, Sector 22, Chandigarh. A grand Shobha Yatrawas held to mark the occasion ,which started from AryaSamaj, Sector 22 , and passing through sectors 23 and16, it concluded at Arya Samaj ,Sector 16.
The D.A.V.educational institutions and AryaSamaj organisations of Chandigarh,Panchkula,Mohali,Derabassi and Surajpur participated in it withfull zeal and zest.Well decorated horse riders withflags,scenic presentation from the life of SwamiDayanand Sarswati, Vedas, yajna, patriotism,aryatraditions,environmental purity , children with smallflags bearing Aum ,distribution of vedik literature anda large number of vehicles of different models made theShobha Yatra remarkable.Shri Ravinder Talwar president of Kendriya AryaSabha thanked the participants at the conclusion of theShobha Yatra.Swami Sampunanand Ji,Dr.V.P.Paul,Avinash Chander, Prakash chander Sharma,VinodKumar,Dharmveer Batra, Principal Josan,PrincipalRakesh Sachdeva ,Gandhar , Principal MadhuBehl,Sunita Ranyal, Principal Jaskiran,Vibha Ray ,Rosysharma,Jaya Bhardwaj were among those who werepresent on the occasion.
