Taran Tarn brutality: Punjab govt provides security to 3 petitioners

In Tarn Taran woman assault case, the Punjab government on Tuesday informed the Punjab and Haryana high court that it had provided six IRB (India Reserve Battalion) to Gurmukh Singh (victim Harbinder Kaur's uncle), Sukhraj Singh (sarpanch of her village Usma) and Jagjit Singh (the main witness who shot a video when the police thrashed Harbinder and her relatives). The state government said that it has spared a section from CRPF's 13th Battalion attached with state to replace CRPF security deployed with victim Harbinder Kaur's family.
