facilities by the best doctors in the field, the Alchemist Group of
Hospitals added another feather to its cap by bringing on board
renowned cardiologist Dr Inderjit SinghVirdi. Dr. Virdi, who has
recently joined Alchemist group, will be looking after the functioning
of the group’s two hospitals located in Panchkula and Gurgaon as
Executive Director.
Virdi, who has to his credit over 75000 heart and lung operations
performed across the globe, with countries including Australia, New
Zealand, United Kingdom and India, plans to extend his expertise in
the field to the two hospitals. His qualifications include M.S, M.Ch,
FRCS(Edin), FRCS(C/TCH) and FRCAS.
In his over three decades of experience in cardiac and pulmonary
sciences, he has worked as senior consultant and cardiothoracic
surgeon with various medical institutions. Expressing happiness over
joining the group, Dr Virdi said that he was looking forward to
putting in his best in the new administrative role. “It is a new hat
that I have donned and I am very keen to explore the administrative
field.
Being the executive director of the group will give me a platform to
facilitate in formation of teams, apart from opportunities to perform
my role of a cardiac and pulmonary surgeon,” he said.
Virdi, who was earlier associated with Max Devki Devi Heart and
Vascular Institute, New Delhi as chief of cardiothoracic and vascular
surgery, plans to put Alchemist Hospitals on global map. “I envisage
the hospitals as being one of the most sought after for its medical,
clinical and service excellence. I hope to make them world-class
medical institutions utilizing the resources that we have,” he
asserted.
