MIW FOUNDATION WITH SUPPORT OF SUPREME INFRASTRUCTURE INDIA LTD. ORGANISED A FREE MEGA FOOD CAMP AT GURGAON

 “MIW Foundation organised a Free Food Camp with support of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd.  at Ramprastha City, Sector 37 D, Gurgaon on 22^nd January, 2013  People from weaker and marginalized sections of society benefitted from this activity as around 2000 people.”

Gurgaon: MIW Foundation organised a Free Food Camp with support of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd.  at Ramprastha City, Sector 37 D, Gurgaon on 22^nd January, 2013 for  welfare of poor and needy people.  

People from weaker and marginalized sections of society benefitted from this activity as around 2000 people including  labourers, rickshaw pullers, women, children and poor people enjoyed a hearty meal on the occasion. Such free food camps or bhandaras are organized by MIW FOUNDATION for providing relief to poor and needy every year.  

We all know that Poverty is a global issue and non-availability/shortage of food and malnutrition has become a major problem. According to a United Nation expert, nearly 36 million deaths are caused by hunger every year.
In the past year, food crises hit all over the world and have become a major challenge for developing countries. These crises have affected both the urban and rural areas. We all are well aware of this fact that poverty level in India is too high and to such an extent that people really cannot afford eating even once a day. People are suffering from hunger and many of them die because food is not available to them. This problem has also caused malnutrition in people of India and people catch epidemic diseases very quickly because their bodies defence system becomes very weak due to malnutrition.
MIW Foundation, a leading NGO in Delhi and NCR is working for the upliftment and welfare of poor and needy people through various social activities which include Free Food Camps which are organized regularly by MIW Foundation.
The Food Camp was inaugurated by Vikas B Sharma, Director, Supreme Infrastructure Ltd and Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee, MIW Foundation, a Public Charitable Trust. At the occasion Vikas B Sharma said that their organization believes in social corporate responsibility and being a social responsible corporate Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd keeps on supporting activities which are aimed at benefitting the poor and needy. He further said that MIW FOUNDATION’s commitment and dedication for welfare of  people and needy is highly appreciable.
Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee, MIW Foundation is engaged in many social activities for the welfare of marginalized and poor people and appreciated the involvement and support of Supreme Infrastructure Ltd for this noble cause. He further said that MIW Foundation is committed to welfare of poor and marginalized people and will be continuing organizing such social activities for the welfare of such people.
