It’s a matter of great shame that Mr.S.S.Mand PPS officer, was beaten up today by Akali ‘Goondas’ led by Sunny Johar Sr.Vice President YAD at The Hub, a restaurant in Ludhiana in broadaylight. As per reports, the leg of the officer has been broken and he has been admitted at DMC Hospital Ludhiana, such brutal was the attack. It is an irony that the said police officer is the right hand man of Sh. Sumedh Saini DGP Punjab, while the Akali goonda who beat him up is the right hand man of Sh. Bikram Majithia.Govt. will try to suppress facts and shield the guilty, even the police officer fearing political victimization or under pressure may not speak the truth but the whole of Punjab know about the hooliganism by now. Shame on police and its political masters if the ‘Goondas’are not brought to justice.Congress demands a judicial probe into the incident, more so when Akali goons strike within days of the killing of an ASI at Amritsar. Dy.CM now deserves to be sacked for failing to protect his men in uniform by ‘Goondas’ of his party day after day. Sh. Bikram Majithia should also be sacked without any further delay as he is known to patronize bad elements in the state. Only the other day Sh. Bikram Majithia had hurled abuses at a Congress MLA in the Vidhan Sabha. Sh. Bikram Majithia should also explain his proximity to such bad elements including his benami business dealings with Sunny Johar, are all Youth akali leaders trained to kill and intimidate people?
